Lush Snow Fairy | Blogmas Day 6

Today's topic for the Big Blogmas Project is 'Cosy Winter Nights' so I feel that it's pretty appropriate for me to be wearing my pyjamas and drinking hot chocolate as I write this post. To me, a cosy winter night means a very long bath with a good book - living in halls for the past few months with the absence of a bath has been pure torture! One of my favourite Winter bath (or shower!) products is one of Lush's seasonal classics - Snow Fairy!

Lush Snow Fairy Review

Snow Fairy is very much a shower gel for those that prefer sweeter smells, and it may prove to be a little too sickly for some. The scent is one of candyfloss and bubblegum and is extremely strong - after using this shower gel you're going to smell like Snow Fairy for the rest of the day. For this reason, I actually prefer to use Snow Fairy as a shampoo rather than a shower gel as it really makes your hair smell incredible! However, if you're planning on wearing perfume on a particular day, it may be best to avoid using Snow Fairy.

As with all of Lush's products, Snow Fairy is comprised of all natural and cruelty free ingredients. It is very bright pink and with a touch of glitter which adds a magical, festive feel (don't worry though, the glitter washes off along with the shower gel rather than remaining on the skin). Snow Fairy's creamy formula lathers very well and, although not very moisturising in the past, has been reformulated this year to include seaweed in order to soften the skin.

A 250g bottle will cost you only £6.25 and a little goes a long way so it really does last you a long time, making this product an absolute bargain.

If you're a fan of Snow Fairy, Lush have reduced a few products over the years which have the same scent as this Christmas bestseller:
Snow Fairy Gift Set - If you or a friend are, like me, a Snow Fairy addict, why not buy the whole gift set for only £22.50?
Godmother Soap - Do you love the smell of Snow Fairy but aren't a fan of shower gels? Don't worry, it also comes in soap form(and this isn't seasonal!).
Snow Fairy Sparkle - If you're looking for a product featuring glitter that does linger on the skin, this shimmer bar is perfect for you.

Today's advent calendar window is a simple heart bracelet (and the first bracelet so far!)

What's your favourite seasonal Lush product/ bath product?

  1. Lush bath bombs are my favourite!
Loving the Christmas collection at the moment. I feel bad putting them in the bath though and watching them fizz away haha!

  6. Wow, what advent calendar do you have? That bracelet is beaut!
I love snow fairy but my whole family knows it so I'm not allowed to buy any until I "see what Santa brings". My flat only has a shower so I feel your pain not being able to have a long hot soak! xx

  11. The best thing to do in winter is soak in a lovely hot bath, sometimes if I'm feeling really adventurous I will listen to music whilst in there too. I love the scent of this shower gel, it's gorgeous!
